Misano Adriatico is a municipality of 11.485 inhabitants set in the province of Rimini among verdant hills. Numerous archaeological finds show that Misano
Adriatico is a territory of Roman origin. From 1295 to 1528 Misano was under the dominion of the Malatesta family that built in Misano a castle of which
today remain the arc and a part of the tower only. The coat of arms of the municipality represents infact these symbols.
Following the increase of the population happened from 1800, Misano has assumed more and more the aspect of a touristic resort. Today it is considered among
the most renowned resort of the coast not only for its beaches but also for the wealth of history that this resort offers in its territory.
